Senior Software Engineer (Automotive)

JSD is looking for C++ Senior Software Engineer with automotive experience and proficiency in Linux, QNX. The role involves full-cycle development, testing, and troubleshooting within an Agile team.

Responsibilities:

  • Development of embedded automotive systems for EU OEMs.
  • Collaboration with customers to align/create system architecture.
  • Leading presentations and discussions of project results.
  • Testing and verification of implemented functionality at various levels.
  • Working within an Agile cross-functional team.
  • Documenting implemented functionality and process.
  • Participating in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
  • Optimizing and extending automotive system components.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of C++ 11/14 development experience.
  • Experience in automotive development.
  • Linux development experience.
  • Knowledge of QNX and Networking.
  • Proficient in cmake and VCS (GIT/Gerrit/Repo).
  • Comprehensive understanding of full-cycle development (Idea to Documentation).
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English (Upper Intermediate+, both verbal and written).
  • Good communication skills, including presenting results and discussing requirements and architecture.
  • Python development experience. (nice to have)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFe).(nice to have)
  • Willingness to share knowledge and assist teammates.(nice to have)
