Job description

We are looking for a Lead Engineer to develop system-level patches on OpenEmbedded/Yocto.

Responsibilities:

  • Coaching, mentoring, leading your team by example, and feedback.
  • Oversee commercial engagements and support the timely delivery of agreed project milestones.
  • Develop system-level patches for customers’ internal distro based on OpenEmbedded/Yocto.
  • Setting up new ( ARM64, x86 platforms).
  • Support and migration of an internal distro to new versions of OpenEmbedded.
  • Development and upstreaming of Vendor-specific features.
  • Close interaction with the open-source community.
  • Resolving issues detected by the QA team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience with .
  • Excellent experience in C Networking, with one or more ARM/x/PPC/MIPS architecture.
  • Experience in Code management.

Ways to stand out from the crowd/ Plus Skills:

  • Contribution to various open-source projects.
  • Experience with Yocto or OpenEmbedded to build the framework.
  • Working with Jenkins and a continuous integration model.
  • Understanding of Open Source LMBENCH, LTP, and any other tools.
