JSD Solutions is looking for an Embedded Developer C/ C++ with expertise in telematics and automotive virtualization. This is a remote work opportunity available for candidates from EU countries.

Responsibilities:

  • Virtualization of a telematics unit, with potential extension to other ECUs within the propulsion domain.
  • Ensuring that the existing NDA covers all necessary aspects of the project.
  • Developing and refining Virtual ECU (VECU) setup, addressing key technical challenges related to CDD.
  • Working with dSPACE toolchain to enable execution within the dSPACE environment.
  • Dockerization of VECU to support both Linux and Windows environments.
  • Ensuring compatibility with CDD, CT, Vector, and ETAS toolchains.
  • Implementing and managing automated testing:
    • Nightly test runs.
    • Transitioning from HIL to SIL environment.
    • Plain software integration testing.
  • Utilizing Tracetronic ECU.Test for test automation.
  • Executing open-loop testing to ensure VECU behavior matches the physical ECU behavior.
  • Ensuring that tests passing on HIL also pass on SIL.
  • Phase 2: Integrating the solution into AWS after successful initial validation.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in embedded system development and testing.
  • Strong background in AUTOSAR architecture and C/C++ programming.
  • Hands-on experience with dSPACE toolchain and Docker-based virtualization.
  • Proficiency in CAN, UDS, Vector toolchain, and ETAS.
  • Experience in automated testing strategies, particularly HIL/SIL transitions.
  • Knowledge of ISO26262, ASPICE, and AUTOSAR Classic.
  • Familiarity with Tracetronic ECU.Test and test automation frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
